Navbar & Sidebar Collection — 12 Production-Ready Navigation Components
A curated suite of 12 modern, production-ready navigation components — from floating island glassmorphism navbars to experimental sonic and liquid-metal interactions — each isolated, documented, and copy-paste ready with zero external libraries.

My Role
- 01Designed and built 12 distinct navigation models, each isolated in its own folder with a demo page, isolated code snippet, and documentation.
- 02Implemented production-grade classics: floating glassmorphism island navbar, collapsible SaaS sidebar, developer navbar with Ctrl+K command palette, operations tree menu, automotive tachometer navbar, and corporate mega-menu.
- 03Built experimental interactions: a 60 FPS semantic mesh graph with spring physics, synthesized Web Audio navigation, a chronological timeline slider, liquid-metal cursor attractor particles, and an AI-intent morphing navbar.
- 04Created the dynamic launcher page that reads navbars.json via the Fetch API to render preview cards with instant keyword search and category filters.
- 05Kept the whole suite dependency-free using semantic HTML5, vanilla CSS tokens, and vanilla JavaScript only.
Features
- 0112 distinct navigation models covering classic and experimental categories: floating island, SaaS sidebar, developer tools with Ctrl+K command palette, operations tree menu, automotive tachometer, corporate mega-menu, and layered multi-tier navigation.
- 02Experimental interactions: a 60 FPS semantic mesh graph with gravity nodes and spring physics, synthesized navigation sounds via the Web Audio API, a chronological timeline slider (2019-2026+), liquid-metal cursor attractor particles, and an AI-intent morphing navbar.
- 03Every component isolated in its own folder with a full demo page, an isolated copy-paste code snippet (NAVBAR_CODE.md), metadata card (card.json), and complete documentation (README.md).
- 04Dynamic launcher page that reads navbars.json via the Fetch API and renders all preview cards with instant keyword search and automatic category filters.
- 05Built with semantic HTML5, vanilla CSS design tokens, and vanilla JavaScript only — no external libraries at all.
Impact
- Provides 12 reusable navigation components that can be dropped into real products.
- Explores advanced browser capabilities — Canvas physics, Web Audio synthesis, dwell-time persona detection — without any dependency.
- Acts as a living documentation of interaction engineering techniques at 60 FPS.
